2.1 SILENCER(R)

AIRCRAFT NOISE POLLUTION REDUCTION FOR SIGNIFICANT DECREASE OF THE IMPACT ON HUMAN SETTLEMENTS

SILANCE is the largest European research program in aviation field, financed within PC-V growth and INCDT COMOTI is the only participant company from ex socialist countries.

INCDT COMOTI works, within this complex project, in the phase of developing a new double flow turbo jet engine with very high dilution (k=11,7), through advanced methods of designing the thermal gases dynamics and endurance.

It must be stated that SILANCE(R) is the first important research program in the field of aviation turbine engines that has as a partner a Romanian institution
